For me E.A.S is the best. It's more expensive than others, but I get better results with it than other brands. Benzo IP: Logged |

Micronized powder. Most any big name brand will do just fine. Pick a brand like Twinlab, Met-Rx, EAS and then select the one that has the most servings for the price. Met-Rx has a 500 gram jug of micronized creatine for about 25 bucks...that's a 3 month supply based on a 5 gram per day serving. The reason that micronized powdered creatine is the best is for a couple of reasons: 1)everybody is using the liquid (serum) creatine right now and so sales of the powder creatine are cheaper than ever. So you can save your money and get an equally good product. 2)there is some speculation about the stability of creatine in liquid form...something about creatine losing its effectiveness after about 8 hours once dissolved in liquid. Now ordinarily, I wouldn't worry about that theory but under the circumstances I do...because it seems like about half the people who use liquid creatine don't get any results. I would bet that about 90% of the people who use the powdered creatine properly get good results. So, I would rather go with a tried and true supplement than spend a fortune on a gamble. Good luck! Here's a quote I like to keep in mind when buying supplements: "The only people who got rich during the California Gold Rush in the 1800's were the people selling the shovels and pick-axes!" THE WORLD'S TOP CREATINE COMES FROM GERMANY UNDER THE TRADE MARK CREAPURE. -------- MOST OF THE TOP COMPANIES USE THIS FORM. MAKE SURE YOU ARE TACKING IT WITH DEXTROSE 50-75 GRAMS. THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO BUY IT IS AT A WINE & BEER HOME BREW SHOP. YOU CAN GET 5LBS. FOR $2 OR LESS. IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT TAKE L-GLUTAMINE & VANADYL SULFATE WITH IT. IP: Logged |

Yeah BackDoc; great quote. Guys, I have used Sportspharma, Champion and even Pro-Performance and they have worked well. One important thing I have discoved though, is that if you get creatine that feels to "grainy" and not real fine, it doesn't give good or any results. This has happened to me with several brands, even EAS. Grainy creatine may mean that it's old or from a bad batch. Has anyone else experienced this? Hey Anvil2, what's the deal with the creatine from the brewshops? Is creatine used in the brewing process? That price is unreal! IP: Logged |

The price he's quoting is in regards to the dextrose, not the creatine. The dextrose is what the yeast feeds off of in order to produce the alcohol in the homebrews. IP: Logged |

I have used a couple of brands of creatine and found the effervesent to be the best for me, the effer. is dumped directly into the small int. thus 100% absorption, and man the feeling you get. the powdered stuff is dumped into the large int. and is not dissolved completely in liquid thus you get about 45-50% absorption, i have read alot about the effer. type and i think it is better. ------------------ IP: Logged |
