I am in the process of working with my intake and was wanting others opinions on taking in supplements ie.(mrp's,protein bars, protein shakes etc.) instead of whole food meals. I don't have time to take in 6-8 whole meals a day so I add supplements to meet my intake needs. Do you feel the nutrients found in supplements are equal to those found in whole foods.

i think if u take a protein shake or a meal replacement shake when ur on the go or don't have time to eat, by all means go for it. but, if u start relying on those shakes for ur nutrients, you're in trouble. try to take in 5-6 whole meals a day, and 2-3 shakes a day. works for me
