Hey ladies and gents-
Just wondering what you guys thought about this Metabolic Thyrolean and other thyroid "accelerators"?

Trying to drop that last coupla' pounds and my Xenadrine just isn't cutting it. On a low fat/carb/high protein diet now. Any help is much obliged.

You might consider taking MD6 by Biotest, it is fantastic. Also, if you only have a couple of pounds to lose, think about the fact that insulin resistence in those last few pounds is very high. So you might add 200 mg of alpha lipoic acid 3 times a day with your meals to help mimic insulin and thus both prevent any more carbs from being stored as fat and increase the insulin action of glycogen transport to muscle cells. That's what's worked for me. If you don't want to take MD6 you could try Adipokinetix by Syntrax, but it is less powerful than MD6.
I also like Dymetradine Extreme better than Xenadrine, I'm not sure why because they seem to have similar ingredients, but for some reason, my body didn't adapt to the Dymetradine and I continued to lose the weight. But I'd go with the MD6 first definitely, because it is so powerful.

Thanks BackDoc. I'm going to give this MD6 a shot. Also going to add some caps of ALA to meals. Got a question or so, though.

I eat five meals a day, and one-two of them have moderate carbs (post-workout, sometimes breakfast). Would taking ALA 5 times a day be too much? Should I take it only during carb containing meals?

Five times is probably too much (I'd guess), but if it works...

If you take MD6 with just before your meals then you will be getting all the ALA you need. The research I've seen on ALA seems to indicate that there is no advantage in taking more than 600 mg of ALA per day. So if you wanted to you could get a bottle of ALA specifically for taking with your post workout creatine drink in order to allow better absorption of the creatine in your muscles (since creatine requires carbs in order to better add to cell volume, then the ALA would make sure that any extra carbs not used up in the process would not add to your existing fat levels. You could also use the ALA before dinner meal to help mimic insulin, since you shouldn't take the MD6 at dinnertime as it might keep you awake. The ALA will not interfere with your sleep.
So in summary, the MD6 has 200 mg of ALA in it so you'd want to take the MD6 before breakfast and then again before lunch every day. Then at dinner you could take 200 mg of the ALA. And also take 200 mg of the ALA with your post workout creatine-carb shake.

Sorry, I didn't answer one of your questions. Yes, you should take ALA with carb containing meals just to insure that you don't get low blood sugar, since the ALA mimics insulin. Also, don't take your minerals with the same meal as the ALA as the ALA will mop up some of the minerals and prevent them from being used by your body. Rather, you can take your vitamin/mineral with your protein shakes or with other meals that don't contain the ALA.

U could try some Hydroxycut, its a good product. I dropped 3 percentage points in body fat on it, going from 11% to 8.1%. its not ripoff, contrary to popular belief. try it out

I used Hydroxycut also for a little while. It did help me lose weight, but my body got used to the ingredients and they quit working after awhile. Since switching to MD6, I haven't had that problem and I've been using it for almost 3 months now. Also, the stuff in MD6 is much easier on my nerves.

is md-6 that effective hydroxy cut cut worked for 2-3 months then it stoped, ii must have gotten used to it.

I think both MD6 and Adipokinetix are very long lasting. I used Adipokinetix for about 2 and half months and it never stopped working. I've just started back on the Adipo and it is picking up where it left off.
I love the stuff.
