I personally don't take creatine, but I've heard of people having stomach upset after taking it. I actually took glutamine after I finished radiation treatments for cancer. The radiation was causing me to have intense abdominal pain. Prescription medications were not helping and were just doping me up. I started taking glutamine since it does help intestinal tract health. Have you had abdominal pain when you take glutamine by itself? How much glutamine are you taking? Please let me know. I just take 10grams a day. After the aches I stopped it. Is there something I can take to prevent upsets when taking these supplements. IP: Logged |

I talked with a guy I train with at the gym and he said that he had the same problem with creatine, until he switched to micronized creatine. IP: Logged |

i studied just about everything on creatine... the reason your stomach gets upset is from dehydration... make sure (especially right after a serving) that you drink plenty of water... creating opens the muscle cell's ability to store water creating a pumped effect... your body will obviously need more than average amount of water to perform this change... oh and make sure you cut back your salt intake...
