![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I read an article awhile back regarding the cycling or (calculated reduction) of protein in your bodybuilding diet. Followed by a "high protein blast" so to speak. The theory is based on the fact that when you are on a high protein diet for an extended period of time, your body requires even more for further muscle growth. Thus, by reducing intake, you can "reset" your body. Obviously a person wouldn't want to do this on an AS cycle, but maybe it would be practical naturally. The article recommended the you replace 2/3 of the protein calories with carbs. Anyone out there heard of this before???? deltman IP: Logged |
