Is anyone aware of any studies that have been performed to suggest that any increases in muscular strength/size gained from using creatine remain after stopping creatine usage?

There has been tons of studies on creatine and it works. I've made more gains on creatine than anything else. I've been lifting for years and spent ungodly amounts of money on supplements, and the best thing next to steroids is creatine.

taking caps? wow you must have some cash to buy those. i would suggest when you run out to go buy some in bulk. prolab i believe is german creatine(the good stuff). buy it in 1 kg or so size. that way you can take more for less $$. i would say 5-10gms. drink plenty of water and take maybe half before workout and half after. i found this to be the best for me. as for loading or not? im not real steady on the need for it. i have heard both ways on the subject.there are studies that say loading is the way to go, and others that say that if you just take 5-10 gms a day, it will take longer to get the effect but it will also allow you to stay on longer. ??? its all scientific to me....lol.

Thanks everyone! Creatine has worked like a bomb for me. I have been taking it for the last 2 months and I have made gains in strength and size. I just hope that the gains done disappear once I come off... peace!

Whats up with creatine serum? Is it really better than powder? It's not supposed to make you retain water like the powder but I don't know.

i have used both types of creatine and i like the serum a lot better. it doesn't cause water gains or dehydration or anything. the gains that u see with the serum is a real gain and not water. it also is more effective because it goes straight to your muscles and very very little of it is lost. also you can do a lot more running on it because it doesn't cause dehydration

Creatine is a great product, but some of your gains will be lost when you come off, no way around it. Creatine allows your cells to hold more water and shuttles more water into your muscles, so once the cre is gone, the water goes too. It is possible to keep most of the gains, but some of them will end up in the toilet. Cre doesnt enhance real growth in muscle tissue directly, it is more of an indirect increase. If u take cre, the water that is in your muscles will be able to shuttle in more nutrients and aid in protein synthesis more, and increase atp. But, if u take cre and just train half ass, u wont get anything.

I didn't know creatine should be cycled. I pretty much take it all the time. What kind of cycles do you guys use?
