I tried it for three months last year. I was taking yohimbine hcl, norephedrine, and caffiene with it too. It worked very well.

Stack the triac with adipokinetix and gugglebolic by syntrax. I lost 27 pounds of fat and hardly lost any strength or muscle mass. I took the adipo 6 times a day and the triac and gugglebolic three times a day. IT WORKS!!!

Some great points here. I agree with them. I lost 30 lbs of fat taking Tricana and Adipokinetix. At that time I was so busy that I was unable to work out or eat properly, much less get adequate sleep. I was afraid of losing my muscle but it didn't happen. Good point already mentioned--take the adipo 1 hour before or after meals. One last point, the FDA already pulled Triax and who knows how soon till they pull Tricana so buy it in advance.
As a side note--if the FDA bans a supplement, they are banning it from being sold, NOT from being used. So if you buy it ahead of time and then it gets banned while you're stocked up there is nothing illegal about that.

Just a note of interest for those of you who take or have planned on taking Tricana, which is the other brand of the same ingredient in Triax. My health food store contacted me this past Thursday to inform me that as of now no more Tricana will be distributed. The distributor apparently was told that he could ship out impending orders for the stuff, but that that was it. Apparently the FDA has put a ban on future distribution, although I haven't heard any official word of the ban.
What this means is is that it can still be sold at retailers, but that sales will be limited to what they've got on the shelves. Once that's gone, that's it.
Just wanted to get the word out that Tricana will no longer be available.

The ban was first directed at triax...the syntrax brand of triatricol...that is why triax put out triax-II..the ban started in november actually, but every store was so stocked up on it because it was making people loose weight like crazy...now all that is left around here...Scranton,PA...is tri-cuts by sci-fit...I tried it and triactricol is triatricol....good luck finding some guys

Triatricol, (which is the active ingrediant in all of what you are talking about) has been taken off the FDA alert list. Don't believe what Derrik Cornelious (Owner of Syntrax)or his employee tells you. His products work, but when he has problems with FDA, he crawls under a rock and hides. Triatricol was placed on the alert list only. It has now been taken off, but he is still not selling it. He is small and afraid of law suits, no one can blame him, but he tries to lie to the public so they will not go else where. If you want Triatricol (or Triax) e-mail me at [email protected], I know of a company that sells it.
PS- I think Syntrax products are ok, infact I sell some of them, but the BS that comes out of this guy is something else. For instance, he claims to have invented Triax. That is so far from the truth. He has not invented anything, he is just a supplement wholesaler like anyone else. I'm not telling you to not buy from him, I'm telling you to not limit yourselves to him. That's what he wants, and thats why he tells you FDA pulled it. I personally do not have any right now, but like I said I do know of a company that does, and someone who just got a bottle 2 days ago (Feb 24). TRIATRICOL 1000mcg.

Yes, I agree that Derek Cornelius is not on the level about everything. I'm not sure if I am still going to buy my supplements from Syntrax, since I know there are others that are just as effective. For instance, Biotest makes a product that has the same ingredients as Adipokinetix plus GuggulBolic combined. The combined cost of both Adipo and Guggul is roughly $40/ month. But the MD6 from Biotest is $20 a month since if you buy 2 you get the third bottle free!
I fell out of favor with Cornelius when I found out he was going to produce a product containing Sodium Usniate, which if I am correct, is about as dangerous as HPDx...and I wouldn't touch that stuff based on the dangerous effects as stated in the research. I read the article at www.testosterone.net concerning HPDx and it references the research projects that state the inherent dangers of taking Usniate and HPDx.
I agree. I am beginning to think that Cornelius is simply wanting to make a buck without regard to safety.

Actually, anything can be "poisonous" if you take too much of it. There are actually reports in which the use of Triax or tricana (AKA tiratricol AKA triiodothyroacetic acid AKA TRIAC) is being used in some research projects as a weight loss tool as well as for certain thyroid conditions.
Yes, I agree that it is not for everyone to take. I also think that anyone who takes it should be under the care of a physician who gives them regular check-ups. But I do think that with responsible use it is a good supplement.
Actually, there have been more serious adverse effects with the taking of ECA stacks than with tiratricol. I think that the adverse effects come with abuse, but that is true of just about anything. Yes, you can even drink too much water!
As far as it being poison, I don't agree, but that's just my opinion. The mechanism of action of the chemical is not shown in research to have any substantial factor of toxicity, even long-term. But yes, it can be abused leading to some scary side-effects that can be easily reversed. Some people have claimed that Triax or Tricana can lead to permanent shutdown of the thyroid gland, but that is simply anecdote. There are several studies showing that even long term use (and in one case abuse by a female bodybuilder) does not lead to permanent disruption of the thyroid function (also termed "disruption of the HPT axis").
I do, however, feel that based on the research evidence, that the Duchaine products "HPDx" and "sodium Usniate" are definitely poisons and shouldn't be used by anyone.
If anyone needs to know the sources of my research please leave a message and I'll list them.

Thanks for taking the time to write this post as I am usually in a hurry i do not have the time to write all my reasons for this but suffice to say it is pattended for use as an ANTI-thyroid medication and is used as such in europe.

General rule of thumb, if duchane backed it (other than ultimate orange) it will hurt you.
