Just wondering which of the 5pound jugs of protein everyone prefers. I tried Prolab's strawberry and it tasted horse puckey, but it wasn't as horrible as Optimum Nutrition's Vanilla. That one i'm still using is really bad. Just wondering which do you guys use that doesn't taste like a monkey's ass?     | ||

try EAS 5 pounder their strawberry isn't too bad and the percetages of fat carbs etc. is fairly decent, as far as purity goes ultimate nutrition's five pounder is probably one if not the best but it's taste isn't as good as eas's | ||

I'm using Eas simply protein, chocolate flavor, and it's not all that bad, it blends well in a little water. 28g: 20g of protein, 6g of carbs, 2g of fat. | ||

I just started using EAS's Simply Protein and I was pleased with how well it dissolved with the milk in the blender. With Pro Labs Pure Whey I found a lot of the protein stuck to the side of the blender. | ||

I also have been using EAS Simply Whey Chocolate. However the protein rating is only 70% which is pretty shitty. Probably why it tastes so good, and all the good ones taste shitty.... so I am going to try and switch to something else with a better protein content. | ||

Try some chocolate protein from proteinfactory.com Its the best one out there. Mixes easy in water or milk. Tastes great. Around $9 per pound. | ||

Optimums chocholate is good, but I haven't tried the rest of these 5 pounders that are so popular. Now, if you want quality, look no further than the protein factory. The CFM whey they sell is pretty expensive (8 bux a lb) but your getting some high quality stuff that tastes great (chocholate). If taste is of no concern, try the Hydro 520, dare I say one, if not the highest quality proteins in existence. | ||

I have to agree with BSmooth, Simply Protein by EAS has far too little percentage of protein. I know Optimum is of higher quality, but then again it tastes bad (vanilla). About Proteinfactory, why would you pay almost double the price for just 10% more protein? Whey concentrate is 80%. | ||

when i started taking optiumum i thought it tasted great then i started having the natural one (has slighthy more carbs),i thought it tastes slighty beter,then im back to the normal one,but i despise the taste now,i ordered a vanilla and a chocolate in the mail before this thread started i was hoping vanilla would taste like nothing or be better,but i guess not! | ||

ultimate nutrition is just whey protein concentrate with a few other stuff ( i think) its very simple indriengents,so probably somewhere in between protein factory and prolab and big whey(from next protein,same company as designer i think) ps..we all need to quit gambling with our physique using these inferior foul-tasting 5lb tubs [This message has been edited by chillin408 (edited February 21, 2001).] | ||
