no more than 5 grams at a time, once or twice a day. post workout with simple carbs is best. | ||

I believe though that if you are over 225 pounds you need to maintain on 10 grams a day. | ||

I noticed good results when i mix about 5000 mg of Creatine with juice or low calorie protein shake 40-60 mins before exercise . It worked better for me with grape juice | ||

Assess your tolerance. Some of us can get away with a 5 gram dosage. I use about 7 postworkout. I've tried using 10, but I just get the runs. I would check and see how much you can handle in a single dose without side effects (gastric upset, loose stools), which for most is usually no more than 5 or seven grams. Some people use 2 gram dosages with good results. To avoid confusion, just stick with the bottles recommended dosage pattern. | ||

whenever I'm trying to put on size, I take alot of creatine. I like Prolabs german grade. normally I'll take 10g an hour before a workout and another 10 an hour after my workout. since I workout early in the morning, I like to take it again before bed with glutamine. 30g/day for a month and a half, than off for a month and repeat once. I smooth out a ton but put on some nice keepable size. The only side effect I've ever gotten at that doses is if I'm drinking alot of coffee at the same time I'll get the squirts, but that's it. ------------------ |
