Is Cell Tech worth the price? What is the best creatine on the market in relation to cost. Any big gains using the Cell tech/nitro tech stack? ------------------

bro i noticed you have 2 posts about 1celltech, 2 nitrotech. Neither of which i think is worth the price. Most people who sell it think it's not worth it either. You want protein, i as well as many bros here would recommend you to the proteinfactory. Proteinfactory.com check them out and read about their formulas or single proteins. They're awesome and very affordable. As far as creatine goes i think Celltech is not worth it. I personally buy Prolab creatine, german made creapure. It's the best i've had. For good absorption just drink it with grape juice. And if you really have a hard on for Alpha Lipoic Acid you can buy it seperate but i don't think it's really needed. Bro what i'm trying to tell you is that muscletech products are very very overpriced and definately not worth it. But sometimes you ask a million people the same question and they'll give you a million diff. answers.

You must have bought one of those magazines where the whole thing is one big add for Cell Tech, Nitro Tech and Hydroxycut. Those magazines are so corny. It starts out as an article about training or a professional bodybuilder and turns into an add for fucking Nitro Tech. Basically I think the only product they have thats any good is Cell Tech because it does contain 10g of creatine per serving + alpha lipolic acid. Even still, it is a little over priced.

look at the ingredients used in cell-tech. it would be very cheap to make a product like that, what they are charging is rediculous. ------------------

Cell Tech is crap. You're spending your money on creatine, sugar and antioxidants. Each serving has 10 grams of creatine monohydrate (you probably won't even absorb 60% of it), 75 grams of sugar (dextrose) and antioxidants like alpha lipoic acid. If you want good quality creatine at a good price, use MET-Rx's or AST's micronized creatine. At www.netrition.com you can get 1000 grams (200 servings) of AST Micronized Creatine. Mix it with grape juice and buy Alpha Lipoic Acid capsules and you basically have a better version of Cell Tech. If you want to spend more money on a creatine product, I recommend trying Kaizen's Creatine Transport. Each serving has 5 grams of German Grade (CreaPure) Micronized Creatine, 32 grams of dextrose, alpha lipoic acid and 2 grams of glutamine peptides. It costs 26 bucks for 40 servings. Cheaper than Cell Tech. ------------------ Check out http://pub30.ezboard.com/bhitsgymofbodybuilding -HB- [This message has been edited by HIT Bodybuilder (edited December 23, 2000).]

Despite what everyone seems to be telling you - Muscletech is not shit. But is it as good as the news articles, oops I mean advertisements say? The facts are that there are several supplement companies ( Muscletech included ) which do offer a good product. However they are all essentially the same. There are 5 major Creatine producers in the world. 2 are in China, 2 in US, and 1 in Germany. Celltech and Prolab both use the high quality German brand. Celltech is a wonderful product but you can make your own for alot cheaper. Get some good quality Creatine Monohydrate, then depending on what you want, mix 5 or 10 grams with between 75 or 100 grams of Dextrose. Dextrose is just Corn Sugar. You can get it from some online supplement stores, but I get mine from a home-brewers store. It is really inexpensive, like $2 for 4 lbs. Then you can also add 100 mg of Alpha-Lipoic acid, and VOILA....you've made your own Celltech at a fraction of the cost. One thing for everyone to remember is that Creatine will break down to Creatinine after about 10 minutes in a liquid. So be sure not to pre-mix your drink for after your workout, but instead mix it and drink it right away. I hope this helped.

I agree that celltech isn't trash, but you can make a better product on your own. Use german grade creatine, as I doubt Muscletechs is, and I seem to have read somewhere, but I can't remember where, that uncapsulated ALA reacts with oxygen in the air rendering it useless, so you should always take it in capsule form, but like I said I can't remember where I read that. Maybe I'm wrong.

true i read that as well. ALA has to be encapsulated and free from oxygen. Rendering these creatine/ALA mixes useless.
