Bros don't get me wrong here, i do hate to see useless products proven ineffective. Contradictory data can be good and can help you save a lot of ca$h so you avoid those useless products.
Then again, i'm getting tired of all this crap. It seems now that there's contradictory data against everything. Even look at this board, you have 5 people saying cassein protein is good, another 5 saying it's crap. The same can be said about methoxyflavone, soy protein, creatine, Micellar cassein, etc. etc.
So who is right? There's many studies on each, many conclusions and opinions on each product. Does methoxy inhibit or synthesize estrogen? Protein factory says there's no such thing as micellar cassein, some say soy is good, others say it's bad, who do you believe? That's where i'm at. I'm pissed cuz i bought a bottle of methoxy, and 2 pounds of soy and 2 of cassein, along with some whey and egg, but i don't know who or what to believe anymore.

Bump.
Recently, I have felt the same as you Risky. I thought straight whey, was inferior compared to a whey mixed with other types of protein including casein, and soy etc. Who knows? I understand your frustration.

In any event, I have found that protein in general is very effective for BB, recovery, weight maintenance, and even weight increases.

Anyone else have any concrete studies on this, that do not come from BB magazines?
