I've used Met-rx's original MRPs, and they really gave me stomach craps and bloating. I've been thinking about trying Met-rx's Pro 50. Has anyone tried this product? If so which flavors do you recommend? Also, I've been thinking about using Met-rx's Creatine AC. It has 90 grams of carbs per serving (which is very high), but I'm thinking about using it only once a day as a post workout supplement. Any comments? Thanks. ------------------ Check out http://pub30.ezboard.com/bhitsgymofbodybuilding -HB-

I used Met-Rx Pro 50 protein shakes. I liked them alot. My favorite was the double chocolate, delicious. Very thick and filling. Far superior to their regular packets. 50 grams of protein. Only problem I have been seeing is not too many places carry it, and it's relatively new. Plus, unless it's on sale it's pricey. I definitely recommend it. As far as their Creatine, I think the Mass Action is best, but has a fair amount of sugar. I liked them both.

Fillers and binders. Mouthfeel is not as important as quality. Go to the protein factory and customize your shit.

Hey Hot Bod, At www.netrition.com you can get 22 packets of Met-rx Pro 50 for 39.99. That's the cheapest place I have looked into. ------------------ Check out http://pub30.ezboard.com/bhitsgymofbodybuilding -HB-

One time, I found Pro -50 at, believe it or not, GNC and it was buy one get one free plus, 20% off. I bought 4 boxes. Since then, it's been unavailable at that store. I've been using Myoplex, and Twin Labs since then, because I can usually get one on sale all of the time. I figure for the better quality MRP's if you can pay $1.50 or less per packet you're doing well. (of course by the case) My workout partner works at GNC, and I get his employee discount 30%. Plus I only buy stuff on sale 20% off to start. Their prices are usually way overpriced, but with both discounts it usually comes out cheaper than on line. Of course, they don't have any cutting edge supplements.

Met-Rx. Supposedly what all the pros used during their building-up years. It was the first to have the different protein sources, to have an anabolic/anti-catabolic effect. It's had a great success rate. All-in-all, I think it's a great product.

Met Rx has a good repuation and meets label claims. I think the Pro 50 is a decent product. It isn't the absolute best in my opinion, but it is definetly much better quality than most mrps.

i just bought some met-rx whey powder, its thicker than my usual prolab and designer wheys, but it is supposed to be better because it is all iscolates instead of mixed peptides, plus the maker has been figuring out the best formula for over thirty years |
