I'm only 16 and i was wondering if ZMA would mess with me in any way because i know it supports test levels and i don't need to mess with mine cause it's high enough but i alwayz have a problem getting sleep and i hear zma helps with that plus it makes you stronger and zinc and magnesium are just minerals, but all in all can i take it? thanx

ZMA will probably not do anything for you.ZMA will only really help those who are deficient in zinc.At your age I dont think it will help you at all and will just be a waste of money.If you have trouble sleeping you can try some melatonin.

Ditto the previous response. Melatonin is your best bet. ZMA only works if you're deficient, and you're correct, you don't need to worry about test levels.

bro if you want ZMA and think you're deficient in zinc, then just buy either zinc pills or zinc/magnesium pills. just take 5-15mg of zinc before sleep. And make sure you don't take it with calcium.
Problems sleeping i say keep melatonin as your last resort. Most people who have problem sleeping is due to stress and supressed thoughts that they don't think about during the day but come back at night. There's things you can do to help you out. Man i got tested on this crap a few months ago and i forgot all the crap they said. If i remember i'll post again sorry.

Is melantonin natural? would it hurt me in any way? is it in sleeping pills because i dont want to be addicted to those.

melatonin works ok, I prefer a beer lol, I'd stay away from melatonin it is a hormone and at your age your producing enough of it. Study a little at bed time that should do the trick

ZMA are minerals and vitamins that we all take on a daily basis( Zinc, Magnesium, B-6). Dont fear bro its good for anyone at any age. JUst don't get more than 100MG OF zinc a day

I've heard Melatonin isn't the greatest Melatonin is like testosterone, in that is a hormone produced by your body anyway. Thats cool if you can't get to sleep once in a while, or you need to go to sleep early. However, if your having trouble sleeping on a daily basis, Melatonin is not a good choice because your body will stop making it on it's own and then you'll need it all the time. I know this guy it happened too, and he finally got off it, but now he is hooked on Kava Kava and Valerian to get to sleep. Both of these are natural and are better choices, but you still should not need a sleeping pill on a regular basis, especially if your 16.

hey, do not do not do not use alcohol or nyquil or those damn nitols or whatever or anything like that to make you sleep. My brother, who was working in the neurology dept at the hospital was telling me about some tests they were running, and I won't get into the scientific stuff, because trust me, it's deep and really confusing unless you have a background in the studies...Anyways, There are 5 stages of sleep, the 4th and 5th stages are the stages in which the body and brain are rejuvenated...in other words, this is the part that makes sleep so important for the bodybuilder's recovery from exercise. The chemicals in alcohol, and other OTC sleep aids (not melatonin, but the unnatural stuff)inhibit your body from actually enetring these crucial stages of sleep, so technically this would prevent you from optimally recuperating from intense exercise, theoretically speaking of course. Scientists do not fully understand sleep yet, but what I saw on those encephelograms in that study made me unwilling to take the chance. Hope this helps and was not confusing. Marauder out.

how do u guys know that zma only works if u are deficient in zinc? they came out with the product for a reason, and ive heard good things. ive been taking it and it helps with keeping your gains off steroids. the only draw back i have with it is that it makes me sore as shit the next day. i would take it.
