i was looking up in encyclopdia what flax was and come up with linen, when crushed makes linseed oil, so therfore is linseed oil the same product as flax oil. OR IS THIS WHAT AMERICANS CALL IT, cos im an aussie.

you're right buddy
however, linseed oil is typically the oil made for facing furniture and cricket bats (as in it's mass produced and impure), and it's got none of the good stuff of flax oil (the consumable product) which is cold-pressed, refrigerated and treated very carefully.

True, you want cold unfiltered high-lignan oil.

As far as I know linseed and flax seed are the same thing. If you are looking for seeds you usually find linseeds. If you are looking for an oil, you usually find flax oil. I take a metric tablespoon a day and I feel great. My skin is really good too. I recommend it.
