I'm about to start primo depot - 400mg per week. I'm on a low fat, medium carb, good protein diet. I was told that taking fat burners whilst on a low fat diet can cause muscle atrophy. I figure that the primo with give me steady gains and the fat burners help me along with the fat burning. I'm on a very strict diet and don't wish to change it because I want to look as best/cut as I can. Am I on the right track?? Any pointers much appreciated. K_C

You'll be likely to get more responses on the anabolic board if you're planning on taking primo depot. ECA stacks will help you burn fat, but make sure you're taking enough protein and some glutamine peptides to reduce muscle atrophy. You may not need and ECA stack with juice, there are some good examples of stacks on the AS board. BTW, how much more fat do you need to lose. Where are you now? Be sure you have clear specific goals.

If you're talkin juice for cutting, go to EQ and winny stacked, with maybe 250 mg sus a week starting about midway through the cycle...If that shit doesn't cut you up, you got yourself some fake gear....Ask the bros on the anabolic board, BTW, Xenadrine works good with the aforementioned stack...DAMN that shit is wild! Just make sure you don't stop the gear and ECA at the same time...you'll have less energy than a corpse. Oh yeah, never stop lifting! Good luck, see you on the anabolic board bro. Yeah, if you don't mind the juice, I recommend Winny/Clen, but that's something you should probably take up with the Anabolic board for details. If you want to lay off the heavy hitters, stick with an eca stack mixed with lots of cardio! Good Luck! ------------------

Smackdown, "if you are taking a eca stack and doing cardio is there a chance you will loose alot of muscle?" It depends how much cardio you are doing, and the length of time you're spending doing cardio. You may lose some muscle, but probably not a lot. A couple of suggestions: Keep your cardio sessions short, but intense. Doing intervals of explosive speed, then back down. For 20 minutes or so. Or, keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone, which is before your reach aerobic type of cardio, for longer sessions, 45 minutes. Also, you can reduce the number of days you do cardio. But don't reduce intensity. Be sure not to dehydrate or you will lose muscle. Drinks tons of water, a gallon a day, at least. Be sure your protein is fairly high. You may want to add glutamine peptides (more effective than L-glutamine) before and after your workouts. Do not cut back on your resistance (weight) training. If you have to do cardio on the same days as weights, my preference is to do your weights before cardio. Unless, you're just warming up with cardio. (10-15 minutes) Stay strict with your diet, as you are now, but don't be afraid to eat lots of good stuff. Even complex carbohydrates are okay, you will need them for endurance. Keep tabs on your bench press, if it starts going down, you're losing some muscle. Then, try to eat more. Also, I never work out on an empty stomach. Especially cardio, you'll surely burn muscle doing this. I have experience in that. But, I needed to lose fat at the time. Personally, now I always take an MRP before and after each workout. Eat like crazy, workout like crazy, do cardio twice weekly for 45 minutes to 55 minutes. Weight train four days per week, and take one day off to eat anything, and rest. BTW, I lost about 50 pounds hit a low of 186 lbs, and am on my way back up. Currently, at 193, bench is at an all time high as of this week. If you do end up losing a little bit of muscle, it's okay it will come back when you hit your weight and fat goal. However, you will minimize any muscles losses by following a few of the previously mentioned suggestions. If you would like to know how I did it, you can e-mail me.

Hey Smackdown, With ECA you can afford to do the extra cardio and your muscle loss will be minimal. Of course, it all depends on your personal goals, I myself am willing to count my losses when it comes to cardio training. Because during the rugby season, I must be quick and able to run for long periods of time while getting smacked around a bit. In the off season I primarily work on strength and work on cardio very little, it seems to balance out in the end. From my personal experience with eca, I cut the fat and raise my cardio fitness, but lose a small amount of muscle with it, but if you don't do light lifting while in a strict cardio/ fat cutting program, you could lose considerable muscle mass. As I said, it greatly depends on your goals. If you want to cut up and be bulgingly ripped, you may want to check out the anabolic boards, because ECA may be the miracle of modern herbal science, but it isn't juice! Thats' just my bit of wisdom, best of luck to you. ------------------
