I have a question about mrp's. You know certain mrp's that come in a bucket, they contain so much fat, protein, carbs etc. per serving right. But how do you know that your getting the exact amount of each ingredient per serving. I mean how do you know your not getting a scoop with a bunch of carbs another with so much protein. How do they make it where each scoop you get is the proper serving, you know 40g of protein 23g of carbs and the rest?

you don't (hehe) same with protein.
If it says that there is 22 grams of protein per servin and 29g per serving, then their is a certain level of discrepency. I guarentee you every time you take one scoop of protein you don't get exactly 22grams of protein.

Who cares though?? just take a serving and be happy. as far as the MRP's get one with as low of FAT as possible. any fat in an MRP is going to be terrible for your body. use some flax seed oil if you want to add dietary fat with the MRP

That is a good question. I've often asked myself the same thing, but all you can do is assume that you're getting the right serving of protein/carbs/fat..etc. As far as fat in MRP goes, it depends on what kind of fat is in it. My favorite meal replacement has 11 grams of fat, but they are EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids), which are very good for you. So it depends where the fat source is from.

AAAAAHHHHH, a reponse, thanx guys. Its just something I wonder about. I think I'll stick to mrp's in the packets and stay away from the ones in buckets because I guess you just gotta trust the company. I was thinking about trying the one from eclipse called rx deluxe, because each one comes with a shaker bottle. Has anyone tried eclipse products? I did a search but theres not much.

I don't know how reputable Eclipse is. If each serving comes in a shaker bottle, it's probably expensive. Just stick to the packets to save money and spend the extra money elsewhere. My favorite MRP is Muscle Meals by Muscle Link. The taste is good and it is nutritionally complete.
