Hi Everyone,
I just had a few things to say about this Meal Replacement. And no, I am not a spokesman for this company. I'm just letting everyone know my experiences with this MRP. It's called Muscle Meals, it's put out by Muscle Link. It's a very good product and I believe it's one of the best out there. Each serving has 40 grams of protein (Egg, Micellar Casein, Whey Concentrate), 11 grams of EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids), 10 grams of glutamine peptide. I supplemented with this MRP for over a year and my ability to recover from workouts has improved.
The first day I started taking this MRP, it was after a very heavy squat day. It started out on a new program and usually my legs are fried the day after. That day I took 2 servings of that MRP. One serving after my workout and one serving before bed time. The next day my legs were barely sore. I was only supplmenting with this MRP and Twinlab vitamins. I believe that the protein blend and 10 grams of glutamine peptide really helped me recover faster. Micellar Casein has been shown to be more anti-catabolic than any other type of casein. There is another good MRP that is put out by GEN, it's called Growth Factor X. It's a good product. It has the same type of protein blend, but it's not really high in glutamine peptide. And the product is really expensive. I recommend Muscle Meals. This is just a suggestion. I know a lot of people who are taking Myoplex and that stuff costs a lot. I believe that Myoplex is crap, in my opinion. This MRP isn't cheap, but it's very good for the price. You can get a box for around 36 bucks for 20 packets. I don't know if Ironman Magazine is still doing this, but if you go on their site you can request a free sample of Muscle Meals. The best prices for Muscle Meals is www.netrition.com If anyone does try it please let me know if there was a difference in anything. Thanks, keep lifting.

I totally agree! I liked it so much after a leg workout that I ordered a case of it! Muscle Meals is not a big name MRP but it sure is a good one!

Yes, I believe this product is good for bulking. If you want more calories add some low fat or nonfat yogurt, or skim milk. I never do because I try to avoid as much simple sugars possible, unless I use it as a post workout drink. It has a great protein blend, 10 grams of glutamine peptides and 11 grams of Essential Fatty Acids. It would be my first choice for a MRP. It is not a weight gainer. It will not put on 1-5 pounds of muscle in a week or in a month. I don't want to make it sound like a miracle supplement, because miracle supplements don't exist. I wouldn't call steroids miracle supplements because of the harmful side effects. But this product is very nutritious and it will help you recover faster. I recommend trying a box to see if you like it. If you don't have your diet down, then don't bother supplementing. It would be a waste of money. I recommend taking in 4-5 solid food meals a day and add 2 servings of Muscle Meals for a bulking diet. That would be a total of 7 meals. If you decide to try it, please keep me informed on your results or email me any comments. Good luck.
