Whey is certainly the buzzword of the last 5 years. Everyone agrees it is the best protein because everyone else sez so. A while back in MM2000 they published a study that showed casein was 46% better than whey for adding lean muscle. Comments?

Casein (a phosphorus based protein molecule) is more slowly absorbed by the gut than whey. Its best to use a combo of the two. Most of your leading MRPs use a casein/whey blend. I also eat cottage cheese everyday which is high in casein protein.

they are really good!! I bought 2lbs of casein and 5lbs of Whey and mixed it up.
they add banana flavor and some sweetener along with some aminogen. best damn protein I've bought for my money!!

Whey is better for post workout and Casein is generally better throughout the day and especially at night

It is best to take them together, since casein will slow down the absorbtion of the whey so less is oxidized and used as energy.

Whey and casein are good if taken together. The best type of casein is micellar casein. It's shown to have more anti-catabolic properties than whey or any other types of casein. Whey concentrate is a good source of whey protein. Because it has high amounts of lactoferrin which can benefit muscle growth and recovery. Whey isolates don't have lactoferrin, because the filtering processes destroy the lactoferrin. I recommend the MRP, Growth Factor X by GEN. It has Micellar Casein, Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate.
