I have been using my bench shirt to train for a contest. I was thinking of washing it. I don't want to ruin the fibers or make it weaker, but maybe just shrink it a little. So should i wash it in warm or cold water and should i hang dry it or put in the dryer? Need some help, strokerjr

It is an Inzer blast shirt. The $85 one. Drying the shirt won't make it weaker?

strockerjr I have a blast shirt that I train in close to comps. The shirt I lift in gets washed in the sink with the hottest water I can put it through. Then I dry it in the dryer at a high temperature. This does shrink the shirt, about a size but makes it perfect for lifting in. I reccomend this, but before you compete with this washing formula, test it out a few weeks before hand. You will like the results...
If you let the shirt air dry it will not shrink a size but just pull it up a bit.

let me know how you get on.

Thanks for the post POW. I think I will try washing it really hot and then hang drying it because the damn thing is already so tight it feels like it is going to blowout. The reason it is so tight is because it is made for a 181 competitor.NEways I Pushed 390 in a workout 3 days ago. The meet is in two weeks. So therefore I probably won't test it before the meet. Later, strokerjr

hand wash it with a little laundry detergent and cold water. Drip dry it. if you machine dry it, it will be way to small hand it out in the sun and it will shrink quite a bit. be almost better than brand new
