Is high glycemic good or no good? I'm working on a diet and would like to add pasta & ground turkey as one of my meals.

high glycemic carbs are usually saved for after a workout, because they cause a greater spike in insulin than low glycemic carbs do.

however, glycemic index is only really applicable when carbs are eaten by themselves, so if you combine pasta with turkey and have some fat in there, everything together would lower the index of the pasta. if you're dieting for mass i wouldn't worry about any of this though. just eat up.
