Whats your opinion on people that rely on soy for protein? I eat beef, chicken, human, whatever I can get my hands on. I heard it can lower testosterone. IP: Logged |

Soy sucks ass - kills test, jacks up estrogen faster than watching Oprah while gossiping about hair-do's. (okay, maybe not that bad, but it still sucks) IP: Logged |

I don't rely on it, but I use soy milk for my protein shakes, better than water and I don't use any milk products in my diet. IP: Logged |

I read a good article on t-mag about soy. Go there and check it out. Soy is for women. IP: Logged |

Bumb that. It's an excellent article - one of dozens explaining why male bodybuilders and atheletes should avoid soy. IP: Logged |

Interesting article, however, I am not a huge fan of everything uder the sun that happens to lower cholesterol (the thyroid stuff is very cool though, I must admit). Cholesterol is a precursor to test, so it's not like the plague or anything, especially if you're young (like yours truly). While the article is quite informative and objective (as if Will Brink would write anything other than that), it does not convince me to run out and buy soy powder and start mixing it with whey. The benefits just don't seem that profound - I'd rather get more immune-system boosts and fast action from more whey. IP: Logged |

I'll agree with you on that, I just had to justify my use of soy milk with my protein shakes. Man, I don't want to use water. IP: Logged |
