hi this is my first post so bare with me. I started working out 6 months ago and have lost 50 pounds. I am currently 6"1" 200lbs and about 12%BF. I had been making steady gains in both strength and fat loss untill a month ago. I have noticed a loss in strength and, I belive, all my recent losses in weight have been muscle. I have cut my cardio from 60 minutes 5 days per week to 30 minutes 5 times per week. I didn't get the results I was hoping for so I logged my diet and found I had cut my calories to about 2000 per day at 30/50/20 ratio. I think I need to increase this to about 2800 but am afraid of a resulting gain in BF. I am getting to a point of looking good and don't want to regress!!! please any advice will help I'm stuck! 12% Bf is outstanding. You need to change up your workout. You also might want to switch your diet up... add more carbs; add more protein; add some extra fat/not saturated. Cut cardio back to 3-4 days / week. 45 min. If you want 60 minutes of cardio split it up before and after you work out. Get plenty of rest. ------------------ IP: Logged |
