Currently I am cutting and right now I am revising my diet. I would like to get some meal ideas, mainly for breakfast but I am always up for suggestions on anything. I feel there is much more I could be doing with my diet to help me lean out. FYI 6'2 188 12%bf.

Here is my current breakfast

1 cup Special K
1 cup Skim milk
Protein shake
1 tbsn Flax oil
Cal:540 Pro:53 Carb:41 Sugar:19 Fat:16.5

I am sick of it but mainly I feel it is ineffective. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I might cut out the Special K and go with a half cup oatmeal. I know it isn't a big change at all, but some of the feed back I got from the one post I have up about the glycemic index has me worried about cereals now.

From what i understand, theres not a whole lot to worry about GI's as long as you are eating protein with it. could be wrong though. I personally really like omelettes. I have shakes for breakfast sometimes, but i'm hungry as sin about an hour or so later, the eggs seem to stay with you.

Can't go wrong wih 1/2 cup dry measure oatmeal + 1 scoop whey + 1 tbsp. flax.

ive been dieting down for 11 weeks now..gone from 233 to 208...my breakfast has been like this:

7 eggwhites
2 yolks
100 grams oatmeal mixed with 2.5dl skimmed milk and 1 scoop protein powder
+multivitamins and omega3 supplement

716kcal, 21g Fat, 70g Carb, 62g Pro

Grape nuts are not to bad of a cereal. Id use that before special K

If you're trying to diet down try 2/3 to 3/4 cup dry oatmeal with a tablespoon of raw wheat germ and a tablespoon of oat bran. Cook it, add a tad of milk and cinnamon. Then take a 30-40 gram protein shake and you should be in good shape for a couple of hours.
