MS, I placed 5th out of 10 in the junior lightweights. I weighed in at 154- I knew I had lost muscle. I was disappointed and thought I looked fat. I talk to the National judge, and he said I needed to be a little tighter. I thought I was just not hard enough and was getting psyched out. But then I talked to a national competitor and he said the same thing as you. He said I looked good but that I helled a lot of water. He asked about my saodium, potassium, H2O, carbs etc. He said I had done it all wrong and he is supposed to help me with my upcoming show in 2 weeks. Can you give some advice about this stuff or some interesting sites to find on potassium loading, etc. It made me feel better knowing it was not because I was fat. I looked the same as 1 week ago as far as the skin around my stomach and yet I lost 3 lbs, probably from too much cytomel. Any advice, tips, last minute advice, etc would be welcomed for my show in 2 weeks.

I'll email you some info, but if you've got a seasoned competitor to help you out, you should try what he says. Especially if he'll be around to see you 'in the flesh'. I can give you some guidelines, but it really is much better if you have someone that can monitor your progress in the week before the comp, Someone that can look at you daily and adjust you program as needed.

MS- I would love your help. The problem with the seasoned competitor is that I will be 120 miles away from him. He is only supposed (hell I cannot call him about the details until tomorrow) to give me a more surer way to come in harder. The info you asked for last time we talked is as follows:
141 g of carbs, 300g of protein, fat(well watever was in chx breast, protein powder, etc)The total calories are around 1800. Man was I fucked up with fatigue the last few weeks. The guy also said to keep doing what I was doing to stay tight, except he wants me to get carbs from sweet potatoes and not eat chx this close to show time, something about sodium (damn I feel ignorant). Thanks for the help, my sincere respect.
