I need a little help here... How much protien is in meat.. I mean conversion ratio.. Lbs of meat to protien in it??? Say like I have 1lb of meat.. How much protien is in it??? THANKS ~~~~~~~~~~~SNAKE

It depends entirely on the meat, both the type (chicken/beef/fish/pork/venison...) and the cut of meat.

Lean beef = 1/5 protein
Most Fish = 1/4 protein
Pork = 1/6 protein
Poultry(skinless/boneless) = 1/5

These are all approximate, but quite accurate. Also, these are without any added stuff, meaning nothing but the meat. If you baste your chicken it's not quite the same ya know. Anyway.. hope this helps.
