Okay, guys Can you help me and the mrs. out on a nice cutting diet. Meal plans and all. My stats are as follows 5' 9" at 240 dont know my bodyfat but I am assuming about 20 pounds of it is fat. I would like to get to 220 pounds lean. My wife stats are 5' 2" at about 150 and she in wants to get to about 120. We do not know her bodyfat either but we figure she is about 30 lbs overweight. Any help would be appreciated!!! I have done my share of diets but none have gotten me to that magic point of being 220 and shreded. Please Help Bros and Broets!! Thanks in advance! ------------------ IP: Logged |

For my B.Friend and myself, (he's 6'2" bf apprx.12%-14%,260- 270. I'm 5'7.5", 135-140, bf. approx. 15-16%, we have been eating very high protein, med. carb, low fat for 6 on, 1 off. I have lost 30 pounds, hes lost probably about 15 pounds. He was also leaner than me, I was more blubbery. Depending on your workout, schedule, what supplements you are taking, whether or not you are doing any cardio, etc...(Sooo many variables here), our diet contains the basic following items: Chicken breasts (fat and sugar content of everything monitored closely This is just a sampling, but they key is to cut the fat and simple sugars. Cardio REALLY helps too! Try Adipokenetics for a fatburner. Eat often, keep your metabolism up, just clean up your diet and do some cardio. Try eating 10% of your maintenence calories. Hope this helps a little. IP: Logged |

I've found that its very helpful to get your BF%. It allows you to plan your diets better and achieve your daily % requirments for carbs, proteins and fats more accurately. Go to your local gym & a trainer will be able to perform this for you - even if you don't want to know DO IT! It will make your achievements that much better! Key Points to Remember: *EAT, EAT, EAT! You need to eat 5-6x's a day to get that metabolism up & burning fat! (Sample meal: B- 3-4 egg whites, bagel or 2 slices toast & 1/2c oatmeal Snack- protein bar (Pure Pro is the best for supplement content!) L- tuna/turkey/chix sandwich or salads or 1cup pasta w/chix or shrimp Snack- protein bar/shake or fruit D- grilled or broiled meats/fish and veggies or salad Snack- protein shot). Best to do this meal plan 5 days on & take 1 day off as your cheat day (gets the food cravings out of the way!) *No carbs after 5:00pm - burn it don't store it! *Drink lots of water *Do I need to say Cardio?? Best time to do it is in the am before you eat! Try not to go less then 30min/session 4x week. *Take a thermogenic - Hydroxycut is a great cycle to use or make a stacker with 25mg ephedrine, 1 asprine & 1 vivarin *Sleep 6-8 hrs/night to allow your body to repair & do it again the next day *Take your vitamins! Multi, calcium, B & C will replace missed nutirents in your diet. Remember, muscle weighs more then fat so don't just rely on the scale to determine where you are - use the BF measurments and the mirror! When I started I was about 135lbs with 12-14%BF at 5'7". Now I'm 140lbs with 10%BF (and still dropping!)and I look and feel better then I did at 135. IP: Logged |
