I was just curious as to what degree you all go to when you drop your carbs down. Does your strategy include dropping them quick right after your bulking phase, or over time? And how low do you go precontest or just pre summer?? I personally cant go below 200g a day without commiting dieting suicide. just a curiosity, ------------------ IP: Logged |

i drop them quickly after bulking. i never go extremely low, i take about one cup of rice for the first four meals (i use other kinds of carbs too, but just as an example) and a salad at night. this week i carb depleted for three days with no carbs - only a couple small garden salads - and now i'm carbing up for two days. So you eat carbs all day long? or do you cut them after a certain time of day. Ive always found it interesting how people diet and how it works for them. It took me a long time to figure out what works well for my body but Im always curious as to how other people use thiers. later, IP: Logged |

well, the last carb meal i have is around six or seven, but then i train at night, so i'll have a green salad or a cucumber along with my protein. i'm sure eating a little bit of carbs at night won't hurt you if you eat them right after training. hell yeah!! it's amazing how much we learn about our bodies when we diet. everytime i do it, i learn something different and i get better at it. it's so damn confusing, though. like you say, everybody does different things. this time, to eliminate all guesswork, i payed a very good pro bodybuilder and trainer to write me out a diet, that way i just put my trust in him and followed everything exactly the way he put it. when i write my own diets i end up doubting myself and switching around a whole lot. this time it was fast and to the point. I don't go over 30 g's carbwise unless I'm carb loading. Ragin Asian ------------------ IP: Logged |
