I have been on Test for 5 weeks at 500mg. My strenght went through the roof! I got leaner and more "plump" but no weight gain. I was told I should increase my calories. Ok so gonna switch my protein shake to a weight gainer. In other words Im going to increase my carbs. Is this a good idea or should I increase my fat "a la Vince Gironda?" or just eat alot of basic food with 3 Mass fuels per day. And everthing will balance out.

Is the reason that BB eat high carbs is because they also take insulin and NEED to eat high carbs? So for us that donnot use insulin dont need high carbs? I read about Vince Gironda recommendation. This guy was a great trainer and a guru in training and nutrition. Maybe we should all be eating lower carbs and higher fat. I do have his book and his recommendations are really basic and easy to follow. i noticed he doesnt include any starches, mostly eggs and meat and cream with some fruits. But what about our new knowlogde of post workout nutrition. He only recommended protein.

I guess it would all depend on your body type. When I cycle I tend to bring my carbs up & try to get my cals up too. I always keep my protein high but with everything coming up like that my fat intake does too but I try to keep the fats down. When I cycle I don't try to stay lean I just want mass.
