If you want to eat fruit, eat it during the early part of the day. When you eat fruits, they raise your insulin levels, because of all of the natural sugar. During the morning, your metabolism is more active, than it is in the evening. If you eat sugary things at night, it may also be converted into body fat. IP: Logged |

yeah vegetables are great because they have hardly any calories, beccause they are 70 to 90 percent water, beware of carrots, although they carry lots of beta carotine and cancer fighting agents the glicemic level is (101) higher than glucose itself. go to www.cyberdiet.com. and click on "Eating right", it has every single kind of food in the whole world and its nutritional value, including vegetables. note than it does not state the GI levels, but you can easily find out on a Diabetics site. hope that helps, good luck! Fructose is low glycemic (20?)... That's not to say all fruits are 100% fructose... There's an article at www.t-mag.com called "The Forbidden Fruit" you might want to read IP: Logged |
