I am looking to experiment with diets. I have used keto diets in the past with success. But I like to try new things to see how my body responds.

Has anyone used food seperation as proposed by Don Lemmon(donlemmon.com)? How did it work?

Also, has anyone tried the Natural Hormone Enhancement Diet(http://www.extique.com/)
I was wondering if it was just a repackaged version of the Anabolic Diet, or if the author has a new spin on it. If it is different, can someone give me a general idea of the recomendations for NHE?

Thanks,
qball

Did you actually experiment with it? If so, what happened?

SEESEE, give us an overview of the diet. If it based on the old food combining diets, then it is conceptually flawed, but will work.

If you lost 80 pounds of fat, then obviously you were pretty obese. It's funny that you say this is the only diet that has worked for you because I have found that almost any diet will work for people that are this fattened up (No disrespect man). If it has worked for you then congratulations on your accomplishments. But I do have to say this though, I would like to know what your current stats are because if you are around 10-12% bodyfat then this is when it starts getting harder to lose fat. If it has gotten you into single digits, then it sounds effective. I find the best diets are the ones that can get you into single digit bodyfat levels (with as much spared muscle of course). If you are not in single digits yet, then I would like to know your results when you try to accomplish this. Overall, great job in losing the fat man.

mr bmj!! yes i was severly obese, the problem with most diet is that you must cut on something(calories,or carbs, fat)so if you do atkin you are not allowed to eat carbs(no more than 5% anyway),high carbs diet will make you fat because of the release of insulin,so what are we left with? in the case of food seperation you get to eat most of your favorite food but in a certain fashion(no 2 carbs meals back to back) so for me it works wonder, its not a diet but a lifestyle...i got fat(yes i was a fat fuck!)but i found out that with food seperation i dont have low blood sugar,i eat every 3 hours, even in the middle of the night,so this morning i had a big bowl of oatmeal with maple syrup and fruits(high carbs, low fat)3 hours after i had 4eggs with bacon and cheese with full fat mayo and butter(high fat, high protein,no carbs) after that 3 hours later i had a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce(high carbs,no fat) after that a steak with salade and oil with salad dressing and cheese(high fat, high protein,no carbs)after that i had 2 babels with fat free butter/and cheese, you get the point? no more belching, farting,i sleep better, but most of all i keep my muscle!!! anyway i am sold on don lemmon ,to me its the best kept secret in the fitness industries!! see you folks:-);-)

This diet is reminiscent of the old food combining diets. As another stated earlier, essentially all diets work and this on is no exception, it is just that the reasoning behind it is incorrect. All foods can be eaten together, without a problem with digestability.
