I want to drop my bf %. I am using clen now. What do you recommend? Should I cut out the carbs completely for a few weeks? How often should I do cardio. I can do cardio for hours. I just don't want to lose muscle. What should I do? IP: Logged |

First of all doing hours of cardio and working out will let you lose muscle. You should gradually increase the cardio, while at the same time slowly cutting down the carbs. For example, you should do 20 min of cardio, while consuming 300 cals. for say 3-4 weeks. Then increase the cardio to 30 min. and cut the cals. to 2800 for 3-4 weeks etc... (This is based on someone just beginning a diet) There are a lot of careful steps you must take when dieting so that you don't get any lose muscle. There are too many to list but hopefully from what I said you get the drift. If not message me back. IP: Logged |

I certainly hope Herc meant 3000 calories and not 300. IP: Logged |

Start whith easy cardio for about 30 min 3-4 times pr. week for two weeks.Stay between 120-140 bpm.week 3>45-60 min cardio. Slowly cut carbs, and stay high in protein(at least 1.5-2 times BW)Eat clean, but do not totally eliminate fat from your diet. Have 1-2 "bulk" days pr.week which you increase calories(1.2-2 times the carb you eat on low carb days)If you don`t do this your metabolism will slow down too much, and fat loss will be hard. Also your muscles, liver and blood will get some glycogen stored and prevent too much muscle loss.Remember it will take some time, don`t rush it.Aim for about 1-2 pounds loss pr week.If you loose more then increase carbs sligthly. The first week most of the loss will be water. Any more questions and I`ll be happy to answer. BB-Norway IP: Logged |
