Today I decided to use the Anabolic Diet to get even more leaner while hoping to gain muscle along with it. I scanned through the diet from t-mag.net and also elitefitness.com and also from Dr. Mauro web site.
This is what I came up with.
I am 24yrs 6ft 200,12% fat. Estimated bodyfat from a web site http://www.cyberiron.com/cgi-bin/bodyfat.cgi
(maynot be accurate, because I do see my abs. Will get skin fold measurements soon, and hopefully pictures)
Therefor I need 3600 calories, 60% fat, 35% protein. 5% carbs. This is actually 1000 more calories than Im used to.
This eguates to 6 meals each containing; 40fat, 52 protein, 7 carbs. Does this sound ok. Im told nomore than 30 carbs, but here it says 42 grams. I guess because Im eating alot.
I will be using my current Max-ot workout and no cardio.
I will be taking Adipokinetix 3 times per day. Along with creatine to help gain muscle.
I also took 37.5 mg of Vanadyl Sulphate Last night to help shuttle any glucose into my muscle cells. (Instead of using insulin which was recommended by elitefitness)
QUESTION 1: COULD I FOLLOW THIS PLAN WITH NO CARBS, SAVE THEM FOR AFTER MY WORKOUT? THIS IS RECOMMENDED IN THE T-DAWG DIET. OR SHOULD I JUST TAKE A PROTEIN SHAKE WITH CREATINE IN WATER?

I WILL PROBABLY NEED SOME MOTIVATION TO DO THIS SO ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE ON THIS DIET PLEASE RESPOND.

I would do some cardio to help deplete the muscles of glycogen. It will quicken your descent into ketosis.
* I would not take the Vanadyl, it has been shown to keep the liver from depleting itself of its glycogen. I would take Alpha-lipoic acid, magnesium, and chromium instead.

**I would limit yourself to as few carbs as possible. Try to eat as few as possible. It is impossible to cut out all of them though, and you almost always get more than you think/expect.

I feel better today! I was going to quit this diet but I re-Read Vince Gironda the wild physique and decided to get rid of my cream and protein shakes and settle for protein and nuts or flax seed oil. The rest is eggs and meats....I also dropped my protein intake to 1 g per BW.
