okay i have added egg whites to my high protein diet and am now up to 48-50% protein a day in my caloric intake, i have a question however regarding the egg white separation, i know that egg whites are 100% protein so i only want the white, no fatty eggs or anything else, but let me get this straight, the yellow yoke is the fat part of an egg while the white liquid looking crap is the protein part, right? what about the white juice that is in the egg, it is not thick like the egg white but it is white liquid crap that is on the outside of the white dripping out of the egg, is this okay to eat or is it a fatty part? well so far i have done great the last 4 weeks, i started powerlifting and lost 10 pounds of stored water and gained 17 pounds,and my waist stayed the same at 28 so i suppose all the weight came from muscle since i am 4% body fat,anyways i cant believe i put on that much muscle in a short period of time, my arms grew 1.5 inches and amazingly i put 4 inches on my chest, i am at 155 but am thinking about going for as much muscle gain as possible, the thing is that i have no products like protein shakes or nothing, i am having to do it the hard way right now eating canned roast,tuna fish,egg whites,rotiserre chicken,ect, you know the crap you have to throw in fast so you will not barf, i cant wait until i get out of the hole where i can buy some protein shakes and such because my testosterone levels are unblelivably high and i feel i can put on as much muscle as anyone, i cant wait because i am gonna go for it all, my main goal is to somehow keep my waist at 28-29 inches and get my arms up to 20,chest to 50,and thighs to 25 or 26. well i gotta go IP: Logged |

The egg white, known as the albumen, is composed of 4 layers. The inner thick (white/next to the yolk) is called the chalaziferous. Next is the inner thin white. After this is the outer thick (firm) white. Then last is the outer thin white. The outer thick white contains 4 times the quantity of ovomucin (a type of protein) than that of the thin white. You could also be looking at the either the inner or outer shell membranes or the Chalaza, which is the rope-like structure that anchors the yolk and surrounds the white. You are looking at a typical egg man. Also, the egg yolk has protein in it too. The fat within the egg yolk is debatably not that bad for you since it is not all saturated. It has other healthy fats within it, not to mention having around 1.11 grams of lecithin. This is a personal choice for most people. IP: Logged |

Egg yolks have got the same about of protein as the white! The debate about yolks is old but the current theory is that they are not that bad if you have plenty of anti-oxidants in your diet. IP: Logged |

Egg yolk has far more valuable pro. At your bf you can use the fat also! you will grow faster!!! IP: Logged |
