Somone eariler in another post, wrote that dairy products tend to "thinken" the skin. Is there any truth to this? Especially me being someone who believes my skin is relativly thick....and eats mailk and yogurt all day.....just seems like everything there is to eat has some sort of bad effect on bodybuilding. Again. dairy products=skin thickness any truth?

It doesn't actually thicken the skin. For some reason (I don't know why), dairy products tend to make people bloated. Retaining subcutaneous water makes your skin look "thicker", meaning bloated.

That was me who said the thick skin thing.
Brandon is correct dairy products tend to make you hold subcutaneous water , this is water between the muscle and the skin extecellular. You do not want this as a bodybuilder. It makes you look smooth and absolutly veinless. Use in moderation if you must. No dairy 6 weeks pre contest.

Thanks, Im not preparing for a contest or anything.....I do eat a lot of yogurt and drink 3 or 4 glasses of milk a day. I look way to soft for as good as I eat, do you think that they would have that big an impact on my skin thickness? or is would there be just a slight difference? Gary

Try it out it can't hurt. I personally think it will get rid of some of the smoothness.
