I do lots of cardio, excellent diet, some Fina and Winny, Clen. I'm 6'3" and 260lbs. I'd look alot better at 220lbs. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I lost 40 pounds in 4 months about 3 years ago. Looking back on it now, I wish I had taken longer to lose the weight, like around 6 months instead. Losing 2.5 pounds every week for four months is very intense on the whole body. I did do a lot of cardio (5-6 times a week for 30-45 minutes). Also the diet had to be cut back. For each pound of fat lose is approximatly 3500 calories you need to decrease (or 8750 calories for 2.5lbs each week). Now if you burn 500 calories at each cardio workout, for six workouts per week, that will total 3000 calories decreased a week. The remaining 5700 calories needed to be cut from the weekly intake (814 calories/day). Your caloric intake for an active 220lb person will be around 3100 calories a day. If you were going to try and drop the 40 pounds to get to 220lbs than you need to drop your total daily caloric intake to around 2300 calories a day plus cardio workouts. Once you reach 220lbs then keep your daily caloric intake around 3100 calories and cut back on cardio for maintaince. During this time period you will lose muscle mass too since it is a fairly rapid weight lose. It will be intense if you pick this route. Like I said earlier, I would have given myself an extra month or two.

Hey Vitaman, thank you very much for the great advice, I will follow your diet guideline closely. I realize that 4 months is pretty ambitious, but I really would have trouble sustaining the effort over any longer period than 4 months, I really should have started a few months back. I'm not too worried about muscle loss cuz I'll be using winny and fina, plus I have decent size to begin with.
