which is better, fish or chicken? i eat a lot of fish, especially tuna.
what do you recommend as a good post workout snack? i usually go to the gym around 7:30 and get home around 9 so i can't really eat a whole lot of carbs or anything, or can i? i usually eat a can of tuna fish cuz it's got a crapload of protein, but it still leaves me hungry. any suggestions? i'm trying to put on muscle mass right now.
thanks

If possable, vary your protein snack from day to day. Tuna and chicken are great sources of protein. Other fish such as cold water fish also contain sources of Omega 3 fatty acids which your body needs. These you will find in fish like Herring or Salmon. Also as a protein snack you could check out some protein shakes or bars. Both are quick sources of quality protein with low carbs.

Your body is craving carbs immediately after your workout, so having moderate carbs are not a bad thing, even this late at night. Most likely, your body will burn through those carbs before you get to bed. Your muscles also need the carbs in order to use the protein after your workout. You could probably eat a potato or rice with your post-workout meal and not feel so hungry, and your muscles will thank you for it.

After your workout is the most important time to bring in carbs and protein try a good mrp. Tuna fish is a good source of protein but make sure you consume enough carbs also.
