chunk light tuna fish is an excellent source of protein. one 8 oz can has about 25 grams of protein in it and hardly any carbs or calories.

Tuna, chicken breast, egg whites, turkey breast, shrimp, certain fish are all high protein, low fat foods. Non-fat yogurt and cottage cheese are also good sources with lower protein content than the above. Beef has alot of protein but also contains some fat, and milk products are also great sources of protein if you don't mind dairy.
