Should you still keep your protein at 1-1.5 grams per body pound while doing a keto diet. Unless I am incorrect, it seems impossible to keep the correct ratio of fat to protein without cranking up calories to high. Please show me what I'm missing. Thanks.

Actuall you can get away with a 1:1 ratio of fat to protein. The 1.5:1 came from a diet used to treat epileptic (sp) children. Just try to keep the protein around 25-30% of calories. If you want to eat low fat protein sources like tuna and chicken you can use mayo or just take a tablespoon or two of some kind of oil, like extra virgin olive oil or flaxseed, expeller pressed safflower oil, or some type of fish oil, (I like Twinlabs, Dale Alexander cod liver oil they flavor it so it doesn't taste like shit). All of these oils are not processed like most grocery store oils and are better for you. Actually fish oil and flaxseed oils have both been associated with greater amounts of fat loss that any other type of fat, so I would definately get some of these, (the cod liver oil is cheap compared to flax so if your short on cash get it instead of flax). Hope this helps.
