have you guys every heard of a diet like this? ok you eat good healthy food for all of the week then on one day you can just eat whatever the hell you want, like cookies and shit. does this work? apparently your body will speed it's metabolism way up to get rid of these toxins. it seems kinda hokie if you ask me. i heard about it on one of the news stations here in arizona, so that's another reason i have my doubts about it. I did it to lose weight initially. It works pretty well. Your stomach actually shrinks since you're watching your diet the other days of the week and pretty soon you really can't eat all that much on your junk food day. It was okay. I think once you get to your target weight or bodyfat level, then you can eat snacks a bit more often so long as your basic diet is clean and you are doing weightlifting and cardio multiple times per week. The thing is, when you have a clean diet all week and then cheat one day, that next day you feel like hell physically. I gave it up once I got to the weight I wanted to be at. The important thing is that you eat a well rounded diet during the week. DO NOT DO A KETOGENIC DIET LIKE ATKINS AND ALSO TRY TO HAVE A CHEAT DAY! That will result in your body craving carbs to the extent that it will store eveything carb as fat from your cheat day. IP: Logged |
