I would leave the ratio where it is and concentrate on how many calories your eating. At a bodyweight of 185 I would set my calories at 2600 -2700 per day and adjust from there depending on weight loss. You want to be losing 1-2 pounds a week to maintain mass. Trying to lose more is a mistake. IP: Logged |

Hyperhed, add up the percentages. You should end up with 100% 28% Protein, 61% Carbs, 10% fat on a growth cycle would be fine. With 1.125 grams of protein per bodyweight gives me 3800 cal per day which is about right. Some people know numbers that they've heard before but never really added it up to see what the calories would end up. Example: 200lb body builder at 1.5 (common posted number) grams of protein per bodyweight at a 40, 30, 30 (another common posted number) would give you: 4538 caleries per day. That's a lot. A body builder at 200lbs only needs 3625 caleries per day to maintain. ------------------ IP: Logged |
