I was hoping some of you guys could help me out on the subject of using skinfold calipers correctly (best measurement sites, bodyfat calculation, time of day to take measurements, etc.). Also, I could use some help finding a website where I could puchase a quality set of calipers, preferably for under 50$. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Try looking under accessories on this site. The "Fat Track Digital Body Fat Calipers" come with instructions that answer all of your questions. http://www.dpsnutrition.com/

Hope this helps.

i have a problem with the calipers, i know i'm not under 10%BF but i have no skin to pull to measure. When i pull it's hardly anything that i can get, and i hear the electronic ones are not accurate at all... so leaves me nowhere

it depends on which bioimpedence one you get...just buy from a quality company...as far as calipers..the one i like the most looks like a dinosaur head....it has a spring that gives the right tension on the skinfold...so you don't cheat an squeeze too hard..haha...the ones i have say i am 1.2% body fat if i sqeeze hard enough..lol

None will give you a 100% reading but it will give you a guideline. If it says you lost 10% then you lost 10%.
