Hi, decadon. There are people in here that are a lot more qualified to answer the technical questions than me, but I just saw your topic and wanted to chime in with a little encouragement. If you read my post "progress report" you'll see that I weighed 230 lbs last September, and now I'm at 188 and still losing. I didn't think anything could motivate me, but reading the posts here did, and I haven't looked back. Like I said, I just wanted to give a little encouragement. Good luck! It will happen!

Ok you need to make sure you are eating several frequent meals a day. 6-7 meals!! Keep your water intake high...1-2 gallons as much as you can. I would cut out the chex mix, the soft pretzels and some of your fruits! You want to consume complex carbs like oatmeal, rice, baked potatos, yams etc. Stay away from simple carbs and sugars. Lean hamburger meat and fish are also good options. Cardio on an empty stomach is also helpful 30-45 minutes and mix it up. 4 days a week of cardio. Diet is the key and you have to be consistent and dedicated to it. If you are hungry while studying late at night eat a low carb..protein bar, or a shake with low carbs to satisfy your munchies. You have to learn to eat as a means to an end not just for enjoyment, entertainment etc. Drinking is a lot of empty calories and carbs, and it is done late at night, which makes it worse!! If you go out try drinking water once in a while. If you make little changes you will notice a difference. There are also fatburners available to you like ECA etc. This will give ya some extra energy, and curb the hunger, boosting your metabolism. Also make sure your weight lifting is intense and heavy. This will produce lean muscle mass which will burn FAT!! Goodluck
