Ok I have a serious question. How do you guys get rid of all the protein you guys take in? I need to find out a way to make it easier going to the bathroom. I dont eat as much as alot of yall but its tough to go sometimes. Any tricks? | ||

do you mean that your constapatied? Try sugar free metamucil once a day that should get you regular again. It might take 2 days or so. also make sure that your water intake is high enough. At least a gallon of water. | ||

yeah fiber supplements, maybe try some digestive enzymes: betaine HCI, and lastly if all else fails a low dose of a laxative. ------------------ | ||

I eat a very high protein diet, what type of protein do you eat? I thought cheese made people consipated, not meat. Good proteins have a high assimilation rate, and you should spread protein throughout all 6 meals so you should not crap it out. You eat protein to make muscle, not crap :^) | ||

I eat chicken, beef, tuna, sweet potatoes and drink water. Does the protein you drink have anything to do with that or is it just absorbed? | ||

For me it's a water thing. Those MRPs that I have between meals dehydrate me like nobody's business. Mad dehydration + lots of food = best workout of the day. (in the comfort of my very own bathroom, no less) | ||

You need 10-15 g of fiber per 1000 cals. Try to eat a cup of mixed peas, green peas and corn. Personally, I use 1.5 doses of metamucil. You need to do this EVERYDAY. That means you have to include it in your diet. | ||

yah. I forgot, I usually add in a teaspoon of metamucil to my shakes anyway. makes 'em thicker, too. |
