Okay, to be honest with you this is my first true attempt at a cutting cycle. I'm right at 200lbs and have my calories at 2300/day. I've got my protein grams at roughly 300 and my carbs at 100. My question is this....I've lost four pounds in two days...this is most likely water correct? I mean, from what I've read on this board, you want to shoot for 1-2lbs weight loss per week right? But I figure this initial weight drop is just due to the lack of carbs in my system. Do you guys wait a whole week to make caloric adjustments? Educate me brothers. Dont worry about the quick weight drop at the beggining its mainly just water weight.Your stats seem to be in order just stick with it,after a week or so you'll start the 1-2lb a week drop.As far as changing anything I think that you should wait at least a week and make adjustments when NEEDED.The only exception I would say is if you start loosing too much muscle,but i dont think that will happen because your diet isnt too extreeme. | ||

With you carbs down to 100 a day, that is pretty low but fine. You are going to go thru some serious body changes around your 4 th to 5th week. Stick with it. You will feel small in clothes and people might tell you are losing to much size. Watch the mirror and not the scale. Dont let the scale mislead you. If this is your first cutting cycle then you may think that you will not lose as much weight as you actually do to be super ripped. Once you get down to approx. 6% body fat then adjust your cal. intake with more flak seed oil and/or carbs. Keep with it and let us know how it goes. | ||
