This might be a stupid question but how does drinking a lot of water aid in fat loss?I have read in a few posts that drinking 1-2 gallons a day is important while trying to lose fat.I personally am not thirsty all the time so i dont really have an urge to drink that much water and i have to remind myself to do so.(instead of naturally wanting a drink)

What I've heard is that drinking any more than a gallon doesn't really do anything extra. Drinking about a gallon a day is supposed to burn like an extra 200 calories.. That will burn about 2 extra pounds per month.

being thirsty is a state of present dehydration, ie: if you are thirsty your not giving your body enough water. water flushes all the nasties out of your body and is needed to transport nutrients throughout the body. drinking a lot of water keeps your metabolism high. ------------------

If you are taking any AS then you should be drinking close to 2 gallons a day to flush the kidneys because you are probably taking in to much protein. If you are not taking any AS, then still try to get that much into you because it flushes the shit out of your system. Dont drink it because you are thisty but because it will assist you in your progress and help you stay healthy. CHEERS! |
