??You should read the post on "Force Feeding" answered by MR BMJ today. Basically you take the food you need to get down, throw it in a blender with enough liquid to liquidize it and drink it down.

SOB, Liquidizing your food is a great way to add calories to your diet. That is if, you are talking about liquidizing in the means of drinking your calories. In other words, those who wish to eat 6000 calories per day might find that whole foods may be hard for them to consume. Therefore, consuming your calories through drinking should be easier since most drinks can be made into very calorie dense meals. I don't know how you have your macronutrients set up (fats, carbs, protein), but you will be amazed how little fat it takes to add up the calories. Dietary fats are a must in most of my dieting schemes. Dietary fat such as flax seed oil, canola oil, olive oil, macadamia oil, sunflower oil, and "All-natural" peanut butter, are great sources to fill your fat requirements. A great way to add easy calories is by making a drink that consists of skim milk with a couple scoops of whey protein and a tablespoon or two of fat (depending on how you like the consistency). I just add this to a shaker bottle and drink it. I don't even use a blender. Sorry it took so long to answer your question man, I didn't realize that the other thread disappeared. I don't know if this answered your question, but it is basically what I wrote for the other post. MR. BMJ

No problem man. Are you talking about a pureed diet? Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!! If this is what you want, then all you do is put it in a blender and, well, blend. I'm a Diet Aid in a hospital, and I see this stuff every day. It looks like throw-up. I feel for the patients that have to eat this stuff. The worst is stuff like fish, and green vegetables (peas), they just don't look/smell very appetizing to me when looking at the final result. Hope this helped. MR. BMJ

It would be the same as if you were eating it whole. As long as your calories and nutrient profiles are in check, then yes, it will work. If you try this, keep me informed, you will be one dedicated son-of-bitch. Good luck man. MR. BMJ One last thing. Most foods will require the addition of liquids to make it drinkable. Water and milk, etc. might be needed to fit the consistency of your likes.

WOW! I give props to you man. You have my vote for the toughest son-of-bitch on here. Man, I thought tuna and mayo sucked in a CKD. It's good to know that there is always something worse out there. What did you try eating? Actually, this reminds me of that little fat girl on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory who got turned into a big blueberry. She ate that gum that tasted like mashed potatos and gravy and other stuff, then for dessert she had blueberry pie, and the rest is history. Like I said man, good luck on what you are doing, and keep us informed. LATER MR. BMJ
