I'M A 275 POUND WEIGHT TRAINER, I'VE BEEN TRAINING FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. A YEAR OR TWO AGO I BECAME HYPERTENSIVE. NOW I AM RESTRICTED IN THE TYPES OF SUPPLEMENTS I USE IN REGARDS TO THERMOGENICS. I'M GOING ON 35 YEARS OF AGE AND IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO DROP THE WEIGHT. I'M LOOKING FOR SOME TYPE OF THERMOGENIC THAT DOES NOT AFFECT THE PRESSURE? IF THERE IS SUCH A THING. PLEASE ADVISE, THANKS     | ||

look into ripped fuel extreme, supposedly they took out an alkaloid that makes your blood pressure rise. there are some poss. with "norpsuedoephedrince" being used, but I have no exp. with that one | ||

First, are you on any medications for hypertension? If you are this may prevent you from doing anything but simply dieting. I would recommend a low carb diet, since the diuretic effect will help reduce blood pressure, along with cardio. After you have dropped weight, your BP may be under control. If this occurs, THEN I would consider thermogenics. Xenical may be an alternative obesity drug. | ||

COCKDEZL, Do you know much about xcenical?? I'm thinking about getting it for the diff. holidays, so I don't have to be so strict on the good foods  But does it help anything besides preventing dietary fat from being transferred to fat tissue? MICHLDAV, Xenical is a lipase inhibitor, meaning it inhibits the enzyme lipase from breaking down triglycerides into free fatty acids in the intestines. Fat must be broken down in this manner to be absorbed through the intestinal wall. Xenical has been shown to prevent approximately 30% of ingested fat from being broken down, which is simply passed out in the stool. The problem that occurs with Xenical use is diarrhea and anal oil leakage. |
