Vitamin C is a very good idea with every meal. LPC (lysophophatidyl choline) also helps with uptake, but has potential side effects in some people. Also make sure you eat small, frequent meals so you don't overload you digestive system. And of course, Anabolic steroids can boost protein uptake and synthesis big time. | ||

Ms, I just came off a short intense cycle this is why I'm asking this. I have decided to go with a variety of "SPIKING" periods that last no more than four weeks at a time over the next twelve months. I have done my reasearch and I feel that for my body type, (ENDOMORPHIC) I feel I will do better with the short burst cycles rather than the standard 8-12 week with tapers. In this past one I gained 9.5 Pounds of muscle and dropped 7 pounds of real body fat in the process so I was pleased with the results. Two weeks past now and I am maintaining the muscele and my weight is stable. Also I am taking the standard post cycle round of clomid! I will be taking off for the next four weeks, including this one before I do another burst cycle of four weeks. My meals are @ 6 - 8 a day runnig at 60%/40% Protein to carbs for about three weeks and about on week to 12 days of 95/5 Protein to carbs. Very anabolic which causes the rapid fat burn.

LPC as an oral supplement is really still a black hole. As a normal component of our organs it is sometimes involved in heart dysrhythmias, cataract formation and nerve demylenation (amongst other things). But in all that research the LPC is always injected into the organ under study. It is unclear whether LPC absorbed by the intestinal tract has the same effects. There is some evidence that the serum in your blood stream may neutralize some of these nasty effects. It is speculated that LPC may make you more prone to stomach ulcers. All in all I would say it is a supplement that you take entirely at your own risk until more research has been done. It may be harmless, it may not. But it certainly helps with the absorption of all sorts of nutrients. Good luck. | ||

Thanks for the advice MS. I appreciate it very much. I think I'll stick to the basics then. This sounds a little father than I want to go right now in terms of benefit/risk. | ||

i think best choice might be Aminogen, i think Kaizen sells it but not sure. Other alternatives could be Alpha Lipoic Acid for an insulin reaction and greater uptake of your protein, and you could also try probiotics but not too sure about that one. |
