Is 93% fat free hamburg beef 7% fat?
Am I missing something here? Okay, that's before cooking and there is water lost during the process, so let's say 10% net fat after cooking?
I've blown an hour of my life away searching for this info on the net and all I can find is cholesterol info and pussbags wining about how killing the darn cows is mean.

Don't these people ever watch the discovery channel?

So anyways, Thanks!
-Chris

If your hamburger says 93% fat free, then it means:

93% protein
7% fat
0% carbs

If you drain it after you cook it (and run it under the tap) you'll probably reduce the fat even more.

Well. Sounds pretty frickin good to me!

I'm not a pro-bobybuilder but I've been lifting for years and hhave juiced a few times and gotten huge permenant gains...

Is red meat fairly acceptable part of the diet then or what? Why is everyone so down on it?

Thanks.

i think red meast is an integral part of any diet in bodybuilding.

What is you secret to "huge permanent gains" from juicing?

Red meat has one of the most complete profiles of protein, so yes, I think it's important.

Maybe I'm also missing something, but I thought 93% fat free means that there are 7 grams of fat per 100 grams of hamburger. The other 93 grams (93%)are made up of protein and water (unspecified amount of each). It's just like 1% skim milk. Sure it's 99% fat free, but that other 99% is made up of mostly water, some protein and carbs. In theory 100 grams of hamburger could have 7 grams of fat (63 cals), 25 grams of protein (100 cals) and 68 grams of water, for a grand total of 163 cals, 39% of calories from fat, 61% of calories from protein. No doubt this is why red meat is considered a good 'bulking' food.
