i need your help fixing me a new breakfast! my diet was until this morning fine, but my oatmeal this morning tasted even more like shit than every other day. so i said screw the oatmeal, i'm gonna find a better breakfast food.

but problem is, i don't think there is a better breakfast food! but if you know one that is, or close to being PLEASE tell me...

any suggestion is welcome

Not a traditional breakfast food but good.

My personal fav is red beans,black,beans,and brown rice. If you add some spice to it, it can taste really good.

It is an awesome source of complex carbs and a complete protein with NO fat. I think oatmeal just got it's ass whupped!!

I hate oatmeal to, but since I'm not cutting up, I add a little bit of fruit spread to it or sometimes some cinnamon. It helps, but you're right ... it does suck.

What about eggs?

I live by outmeal, but everyone has there limits. One thing I like is whole wheat pancakes... you can add all sorts of stuff like fruits, P. B., low surgar syrup.

Si|vio - I'm a little over oatmean right now, but would you believe I'm still eating it?! I just finished a fitness competition & I ate it for 13 weeks! I had good luck w/ it though. The only other thing I know you could do would be to drink a protein shake.

i fucking live off oatmeal

just add a couple packets of sweet and low and/or some cinnamon and it's fine. raisens good too.

Try eating Cream of Wheat or instead of eating just plain oatmeal buy the ones with fruit like oatmeal with apples or peaches etc.. You can also try oatmeal with some cinammon spread over it to give it a little more flavor. Hope this helps.

1 tablespoon natural peanut butter

Thats the only way too have it, its like a reese pieces cereal...

Especially try the purple barley grits. Soak 'em overnight, cook 'till hot and reduced, add salt, and margarine or butter.

They don't look too pretty, but taste great.

Tey're also supposed to be ow on the Glycemic Index.

Fitnes1: How much oatmeal do you eat and when? I feel like I've hit a brick wall with my dieting....I can't seem to lose anymore fat...but I feel like I'm gaining it...I do cardio in the mornings already...but I could use some help with my dieting ....can you give me some suggestions please....I really need help!!!

My breakfast consists of 1 package of regular oatmeal mixed with 2pks of sweet n low and � cup of cottage cheese. I also eat 7-egg whites/ 1 whole egg and 1 med size banana.

Eggs?? What happend to Eggs guys. But I guess the pupose of eating oatmeal is NOT to get protien, but instead to take advantage of the low fat high carb ratio. In that case, eat RICE.
